Jonas Zörner
A unique, elegant location not far from Potsdamer Platz, paired with the highest culinary standards and a unique view over Berlin: the GOLVET restaurant was recently awarded a Michelin star for the third year in a row - this time under the direction of 27-year-old Jonas Zörner, who was promoted to head chef at GOLVET only a year before. His culinary art is based on years of experience in renowned houses: Trained in the 2-star restaurant Facil of Berlin's "The Mandala Hotel", he refined his gastronomic knowledge in Zurich's "The Restaurant" at "The Dolder Grand" hotel. In autumn 2018, he began his career at GOLVET as Chef de Partie. In spring 2020, he replaced chef de cuisine Björn Swanson, who previously cooked the restaurant's Michelin star. The culinary concept of GOLVET? "The kitchen does not submit to dogmas. We love to create new dishes, to deal with the complexity of the products and to bring out their flavours in a delicate, distinct way. For this, we see porcelain from Hering Berlin as the perfect stage, which once again puts the dish in a completely different light."
